Privacy Policy
Revios, Inc. ("Revios", "we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how your personal information is collected, used, and disclosed by Revios, Inc.
Your use of Revios is subject to our Terms of Service, which together with this Privacy Policy and our Community Guidelines set out the rules for using the service.
When you post public reviews, media, or profile details, that information may be visible to other users, indexed by search engines, and used by Revios to operate and promote the service as described in our Terms of Service (including on our apps, websites, email, social channels, and in marketing where those Terms allow).
1. Information We Collect
We collect both personal and non-personal information. Personal information includes your email, username, and content you upload. Non-personal information includes analytics data such as page views and clicks.
Cookies and similar technologies
On our websites, we use cookies and similar technologies to keep Revios working, remember your preferences, and—only if you agree—measure usage and marketing performance. Our mobile apps use device identifiers and on-device storage for equivalent core features; optional analytics and marketing on apps are covered by the same categories below where applicable.
- Strictly necessary: authentication, security, and core features on our websites and apps. When you choose Allow on push notifications, we store a device identifier and push token to deliver interest-filtered review alerts (not used for analytics or advertising).
- Analytics: Google Analytics to understand how visitors use Revios on the web. Does not include push notification delivery or interest-based review alerts on apps or the web.
- Marketing: Twitter/X conversion measurement for campaigns.
If you enable push notifications (when you tap Allow in Revios and grant permission on your device or browser), we process a device identifier, push token, and your chosen interest categories to deliver genuine review alerts filtered to those interests. On our websites, this is separate from analytics and marketing cookies; rejecting non-essential cookies does not block push notifications, and we do not use push-related identifiers for analytics or advertising.
You can change your choices at any time via in the site footer or when prompted on your first visit.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your data to improve the service, communicate with you, respond to support requests, and for security purposes.
We also use information you choose to make public—such as reviews, ratings, and profile fields—to display and rank content on Revios, to personalize feeds, and, consistent with our Terms of Service, to feature or reference that content when we promote Revios (for example excerpts, screenshots, or clips on our sites, apps, or official social accounts). We do not claim that user reviews are our own opinions; they belong to their authors.
Interests and push notifications
When you choose interest categories (including as a guest), we use them to personalize your feed on Revios across our mobile apps and websites. If you enable push notifications on a device, we link those interests to your push token and a device identifier so we can send genuine review alerts filtered to your chosen categories—not unrelated or excessive notifications. On our websites, this is separate from analytics and marketing cookies: rejecting non-essential cookies does not block push notifications, and we do not use push-related identifiers for analytics or advertising.
You can change interest categories in the Revios app or website and withdraw push permission in your device or browser settings at any time.
3. Children's Privacy
We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe we have done so, please contact us immediately.
Revios is committed to child safety. For more information about our safety standards and policies regarding child protection, please review our Community Guidelines, which explicitly prohibit child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE).
4. Your Choices
You may opt-out of marketing communications. Some administrative messages are still required. If you wish to delete your account and associated data, you can request account deletion here.
5. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy. We'll notify you via email or on our site.
