My Experience with Anua Niacinamide

it can’t clear your hyperpigmentation alone

The Anua Niacinamide 10 + TXA 4 Serum contains 10% niacinamide and 4% tranexamic acid, which can help with minor hyperpigmentation and brightening but may irritate sensitive skin and is not effective for severe pigmentation or acne.

Transcript excerpt

Things you need to know before getting this, uh, Anua Niacinamide 10 TXA 4 Serum. This serum contains 10% niacinamide and 4% tranexamic acid. So as someone that has sensitive skin, 10% niacinamide is too harsh and too high for me to use. So number one thing you need to know is that this is going to irritate your skin if you have sensitive skin because of the 10% niacinamide. Another thing you need to know about this serum is you cannot pair this, uh, serum with another niacinamide serum. So if you are using this Anua Niacinamide Serum, you can only use only this Niacinamide Serum. Don't have this Niacinamide Serum and have another Niacinamide Serum in your routine because you already have 10% Niacinamide. Adding another one is going to irritate your skin even more. Another thing you need to know about this serum is that I understand that when people do show their own review online, they're like, ah, it cleared my dark spot, it cleared my hyperpigmentation. This product is not a magic. If you have a serious hyperpigmentation on your face, this is not going to clear it out. But if you have something minor, something that is not that serious, this Niacinamide Serum is going to, you know, you know, tackle that. It will only work if you pair it with other hyperpigmentation or dark spot, um, product. But just on its own, it's not going to perform magic. Another thing you need to know about this serum is if you are trying to have Niacinamide in your skincare routine, maybe you have a acne, this type of serum is not the type of serum you should add to your routine. We have different type of niacinamide serum that you can add to your skincare routine if treating acne, but this one is not going to help with that. This will only— will only help if you are trying to like brighten your skin or trying to like treat or clear hyperpigmentation or dark spots.
